Our NPORS accredited training courses are available throughout the UK across a wide range of NPORS categories, providing a credible training route for anyone required to hold an NPORS Operator Card or an NPORS CSCS Card.

Obtaining NPORS Certification

Once you have successfully completed your relevant NPORS accredited training course in line with the NPORS training and testing standards, you will receive a traditional NPORS Operator Card.

This card provides formal recognition of your training and may be used as evidence of the NPORS equipment categories you are qualified to operate on site.

If you are working within construction or groundworks, you may be required to hold an NPORS Construction Card approved by that’. There are two stages to this NPORS Construction Training and Testing:

  • NPORS CSCS Trained Operator Card - issued to those who have successfully completed formal training and the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test. This card is valid for two years while you complete the relevant Level 2 Construction Plant Qualification
  • NPORS CSCS Competent Operator Card – issued once you have successfully completed your Level 2 NVQ in Plant Operations Construction. This is valid for 5 years and includes a CPD record and operator logbook.

Some NPORS courses may qualify for CITB Grant Funding through the Short Duration Courses and Short Duration Qualifications schemes.
