How long does a Vocational Qualification typically take to complete?

The simple answer to this is that it varies and is dependent on the type of qualification. Often there is a minimum and maximum timeframe a learner must be enrolled on a qualification. This does vary by qualification and Awarding Organisation. It is also dependent on the learner's progression.

What happens if the categories on my MPQC Assessed Operator Card (formerly Red Card) expires before I complete my qualification?

An extension can be requested through the approved training provider who delivered the assessments. This is then submitted to MP Awards for authorisation and confirmation of the extension period - a maximum of 6 months can be awarded. In that time, under the MPQC Scheme, the operator must register and complete a suitably recognised VQ.

We are looking for a provider to deliver all of our training, is this something we can do?
