Geotechnical Awareness Training

Our Geotechnical Awareness course provides delegates with a basic awareness of geotechnical hazards to any personnel who work within operational areas where excavations and extractions take place such as Mobile Plant Operators, Contractors Shotfirers/Drillers or Monitors.

Delegates will understand their geotechnical responsibilities and the geotechnical hazards in their workplace including types of failures and the precautions that may prevent these. Elements include: Drilling and Blasting, Face Scaling and Edge Protection.

Please note: This course is not designed for those who need to carry out structural assessments.
