Apprenticeship Success with Certora

Certora's Level 2 Mineral Processing Mobile and Static Plant apprenticeship is supporting the industry in the development and introduction of a new generation to their workforce. Following the introduction of Level 2 standard in 2017. Certora and employers are delighted to have seen 19 apprentices successfully complete their 13-month apprenticeship and each return to their employers with a vast amount of training and proven competence.

Each apprentice has completed a catalogue of valuable training directly linked to the key competencies required for their specific job roles and site environments. The mineral processing industry has many different sites, but this flexible programme allowed employers to select specific courses and vocational qualifications directly linked to their operations - ensuring relevance for all.

With over 25% of apprentices achieving a distinction on their observation and interview unit at End Point Assessment, Certora are certain that their programme will see many of these apprentices' progress in their respective roles and calve out their careers in the mineral processing industry.

Tracy Colton, Head of Apprenticeships stated 'I was really pleased and proud of all our apprentices who worked hard and applied themselves throughout the programme. It was a pleasure to see the apprentices develop the necessary skills, knowledge and behaviours to work safely and effectively in their roles and to see their confidence grow. The site managers have been very supportive and the apprentices should be very proud of themselves'.
