Launch of Metal Recycling Contractor Competency Scheme (MRCCS)

We were thrilled to be invited to the QSP Training Centre for the launch event of the Metal Recycling Contractor Competency Scheme (MRCCS) yesterday.

The aim of this scheme is to provide a more efficient route for third parries completing maintenance or other contracted work onsite; this scheme will provide an understanding on specific health, safety and environmental protection related to the Metal Recycling industry.

EMR and industry partners the British Metals Recycling Association (BMRA) and the Chartered Institution of Waste Management (CIWM), have collaborated to create the Metal Recycling Contractor Competency Scheme (MRCCS).

We look forward to seeing the new scheme implemented across the industry.
