IPAF Load and Unload Training Course – LOAD and LOAD+
Our IPAF load and unload training is designed for anyone responsible for loading, unloading and transporting MEWPs or plant machinery on UK roads and carriageways.
The course is available as IPAF LOAD or IPAF LOAD+, depending on the weight of the vehicle being used. The differences between the two variants of the IPAF load and unload training course are listed below.
IPAF LOAD – LOAD training is for vehicles up to and including 7.5 tonnes.
IPAF LOAD+ – LOAD+ training is for vehicles over 7.5 tonnes.
Who are IPAF Load and Unload Courses for?
IPAF load and unload courses are suitable for operators and workers who are responsible for the safe loading, unloading and transportation of MEWPs or other plant machinery. This includes anyone who regularly prepares equipment for transport on UK roads and needs the appropriate IPAF Load & Unload certification.
What will delegates learn?
On our IPAF load and unload course, you will learn how to:
Safely load and unload MEWPs and plant machinery
Prepare equipment for safe transportation
Secure MEWPs correctly for road transport
Identify and manage relevant loading, unloading and transport risks
Follow safe working procedures when transporting equipment
Delegates will conduct both a theory and practical test on the course, and upon completion will receive certification on the IPAF ePAL app, valid for 5 years.
IPAF ePAL - All candidates who successfully complete their IPAF training will now receive their licence, logbook, and safety guide digitally through the IPAF app straight to their phone.
