Our NPORS accredited Slinger Signaller course (NPORS N402) provides delegates with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely sling, signal and direct lifting operations using cranes.

Suitable for both novice and experienced operators, our NPORS slinger signaller course covers:

  • The safe selection and use of lifting accessories

  • Assessing loads

  • Recognised signalling methods

  • The legal responsibilities of a Slinger / Signaller.

The slinger course combines classroom theory with practical exercises to ensure delegates can work safely and confidently on site.

Successful delegates will complete the NPORS theory and practical assessments and, where the relevant requirements are met, can apply for the NPORS / CSCS Operator Card.
A valid CITB Health, Safety & Environment Touchscreen Test is required for delegates applying for the NPORS / CSCS card.
