Slinger Signaller Course & Training – NPORS N402
Our NPORS accredited Slinger Signaller course (NPORS N402) provides delegates with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely sling, signal and direct lifting operations using cranes.
The course is suitable for anyone who needs to undertake slinger signaller duties safely and competently on site.
Our slinger signaller training is designed for both novice and experienced operators and covers:
The safe selection and use of lifting accessories
Assessing loads
Recognised signalling methods
The legal responsibilities of a Slinger / Signaller.
Certora's Slinger Signaller course combines classroom-based theory with practical exercises, giving delegates the opportunity to develop their knowledge and put their skills into practice. Training covers the procedures and responsibilities required to work safely, confidently and effectively as a Slinger Signaller on site.
At the end of the course, delegates will complete the NPORS theory and practical assessments. Successful delegates can, where the relevant requirements are met, can apply for the NPORS / CSCS Operator Card.
A valid CITB Health, Safety & Environment Touchscreen Test is required for delegates applying for the NPORS / CSCS card.
