National Forklift Safety Day

to

National Forklift Safety Day is a global campaign dedicated to improving safety standards around forklift use and operator competence. Launched in the United States in twenty fourteen and introduced to the UK in twenty nineteen, it has become a recognised event within the material handling industry. Now led by the UK Material Handling Association, the day brings together employers, manufacturers and operators to highlight the risks associated with forklift use and to promote safer working practices through training, awareness and better site management.

Here at Certora, National Forklift Safety Day closely aligns with what we do every day. We deliver accredited forklift training for all experience levels, from new starters to experienced operators who need formal recognition or refresher training. Our courses cover counterbalance, reach trucks, sideloaders, pallet trucks, stackers and telescopic handlers, as well as attachment training for more specialist tasks. Training can be delivered at our Chesterfield centre or on your site, ensuring it is tailored to your equipment and working environment. National Forklift Safety Day is the perfect reminder to review operator competence, refresh skills and make sure your teams have the right training to work safely and confidently all year round.
