MP Connect is a digital platform developed by MPQC (Minerals Products Qualifications Council) to record and manage contractor and driver qualifications, training, and site access permissions. Many employers within the industry mandate that any contractor attending their site must carry an in date and valid MP Connect Card linked to an MP Connect profile.
MP Connect
MP Connect was launched in 2020 by MPQC (Mineral Products Qualification Council) as a new and secure way for industry employers to validate the competence of the contactors attending their sites and facilities.
Engaging contractors onto site has proven to increase the potential risk of accidents, particularly if they do not hold the relevant skills and experience to work safety and effectively in the specialist environment.
This risk makes management of contractors a top priority for any site manager and employing business. MP Connect was therefore created by industry for industry to help improve the standards of contractor compliance, giving a baseline standard for all contractors to meet specific health and safety requirements.
MP Connect is digital platform that stores training and compliance data and is used my many employers on the quarrying, minerals processing and associated industries to check and validate contractor compliance. As an MPQC Approved Training provider we support all contractors by providing the relevant courses that allow them to apply for their MP Connect Card.
