'All Round Vision' at the MPA Midland Region Health and Safety Day

Our Operations Manager and Operations Director delivered a session at the MPA Midland Region Health and Safety Day, which took place on 19 June at Tarmac’s National Skills and Safety Park.

Did you know that 80% of all accidents within the quarrying industry are a result of moving mobile plant equipment?

The session, 'All Round Vision', included a practical demonstration of safety features and explanation of how to work with mobile plant machinery.

Designed to promote best practice, the day aimed to encourage the whole workforce to be the eyes and ears of fellow workers.
