Finalist for 'Excellence in Customer Service' Derbyshire Business Award

On 26 March, members of our team attended the East Midlands Chamber Derbyshire Business Awards, where Certora was shortlisted for the Excellence in Customer Service Award.

While we didn’t take home the award this time, being shortlisted is a strong reflection of the values we bring to our work every day. From first enquiry through to course delivery and ongoing support, our focus remains on providing a high-quality, customer-led experience that truly makes a difference.

Being recognised alongside so many respected businesses is something we’re incredibly proud of. It’s a testament to the dedication of our entire team - from our sector-specific sales teams to our experienced instructors and assessors.

A huge congratulations to Longbow Venues - a truly deserving winner – who have an outstanding collection of venues across the Peak District, including one of our personal favourites, The Peacock.

The evening was a fantastic opportunity to connect with a wide range of businesses. It was great to spend time with fellow small businesses, including H2OiQ Limited and Cosy Direct.

Although the result wasn’t what we had hoped for, our approach to customer service remains exactly the same.

For us, great customer service starts with truly understanding our customers. There isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution and that’s why we take the time to listen to our customers’ so that we can make sure our training is relevant, practical, and tailored to deliver real value.

Clear communication, reliability, and a consistent level of quality are central to how we support our customers at every stage of their journey with us.

At the same time, we’re always looking for ways to improve. Feedback plays a key role in how we evolve, helping us refine our courses, enhance the customer experience, and ensure we continue to meet and exceed expectations.

Ultimately, our goal is to build long-term relationships based on trust, quality, and genuine value. That commitment remains unchanged, and this recognition only strengthens our drive to keep raising the bar.
